More than 1.2 million learners enrolled in DeepLearning.AI courses this year. These five stood out as the most popular:

ChatGPT Prompt Engineering for Developers continued to be the starting point for over 300,000 learners this year.
AI Python for Beginners became the place where thousands wrote their first lines of code.

A year when learners asked for more depth, so we built it

We heard a clear message: many of you wanted structured, career-oriented programs. So we launched two new professional certificates:

Data Analytics, a complete introduction to working with data, from core concepts to essential tools and workflows.
PyTorch for Deep Learning, a structured path into one of the most widely used deep learning frameworks, giving you the foundations to train and deploy real models.

A year defined by builders who wanted to experiment

Curiosity moved fast this year. To match that momentum, we released a wave of hands-on short courses, such as Claude Code: A Highly Agentic Coding Assistant, Building AI Voice Agents for Production, and MCP: Build Rich-Context AI Apps with Anthropic. The new courses opened the door to everything from building reliable agents to exploring new coding workflows, long-context models, structured outputs, and early tools for computer use.

It was a year of trying things the moment they became possible.

Looking ahead
