Hosted by DataTalks Haifa, the main focus of the event was on ways to disrupt the transportation world using data science and machine learning. We hosted Dr. Roy Sasson from Google, who is the head of data science and BI at Waze. Roy talked about the economics and data science of eliminating traffic all together. nnIn the second talk, Prof. Avi Gal from the Technion shared with us his work about smart mobility in smart cities, dealing with ways to predict traveling time in public transportation.
