Pie & AI: Madrid

We had a blast on our first Pie & AI in Madrid featuring Raul Arrabales, the co-founder @ Serendeepia Research and Head of AI @ Psicobotica. He shared how some psychological illness can be determined by using word embedding techniques, image caption techniques and some machine learning classification magic. The talk was not only informative but very interesting that the attendees didn’t stop laughing during the whole presentation. We also made sure that we provided enough food and drink for the attendees, as we believe “happy belly happy mood”.

At the end of the event we quizzed the attendees for an AWS sponsored prize: an Alexa Echo Dot. Congratulations to the winner. 

We had a nice networking afterward talking about AI impact in society and business. One can feel a huge interest in our AI community in Madrid to learn, they are eager to learn, and how great it is to have this meetup for that purpose.
